Hi I installed Maverick RC on this old Compaq Presario 2226CL and found a huge problem. Every ten seconds or so the processor spikes and sound/video lag. Even after a fresh reboot with no opened apps.

I remember having the same problem on a Gateway GT5676 (AMD Phenom Quad) desktop back in the Intrepid Ibex days.
