security updates issued Sept. 18, 2010 causes system to repeatedly boot into initramfs

Bug Description

Alert message displayed saying that one of my partitions does not exist.
Busybox message appears as well.

Have to reboot 4 to 5 times before system is brought up. Need to repeat process each time computer is powered on.

I'm using UNR 10.04 with all the updates.

Could you give more info about the error message or capture it in some way? About which partition is that message (root partition, swap?, sda?). Would you be able to capture dmesg somewhere when boot fails?
