I'm experiancing this as well, though as soon as it starts a GUI and the "[drm:output_ poll_execute] *ERROR* delayed enqueue failed -125" output starts, the whole machine slows to a crawl and moving the mouse feels like trying to move it through mud.
For comparison, I loaded 32bit Desktop, 64bit Desktop, Netbook and 64bit Server (to which I later added ubuntu-desktop) all from 10.10. The moment any of them go graphical, the errors start and the machine becomes all but useless. The server edition when on CLI only, spits out a few then stops.
