Bug Description

Binary package hint: quassel

Sometimes users are missing from the user list (and then tab completion won't work for them).

Multiple umode commands can be issued by stacking the commands like:

/mode #channel +ooo user1 user2 user3...

This works correctly if multiple different modes are specified like:

/mode #channel -o+oo user1 user2 user3

However, if the negative umode change is specified last, and if all the mode changes take effect, any users affected by it will disappear completely from the nick list and don't reappear until they or you rejoin the channel:

/mode #channel +o-oo user1 user2 user3

In the last case, user2 and user3 will no longer be visible in the nick list. They can still be seen in the chat window, along with any status changes made to them. This also works if the umode is +/-h or +/-v.

TEST CASE: Check as above, then upgrade to the newer package and recheck. See if missing users appear.

This was fixed upstream based on http://bugs.quassel-irc.org/issues/903 - Unfortunately LP doesn't support Redmine integration so there's no way to link the bug.

This was fixed upstream more than a year ago, so I presume this is fixed in oneiric and precise.

Unmilestoning for 10.04.4 as there is no assignee. If someone wants to work on this, please go ahead, but the SRU window for 10.04.4 closes soon.
