Bug Description

This error occurred during the end of the Ubuntu install before reboot. Custom partitioning was used with a 37.5GB xfs file system as root and a 512MB linux-swap partition. Install succeeds if ext3 is used for the root partition. I have duplicated this error on a compaq nx9010 laptop and a compaq dc5100 desktop.
