GDM crashes with this error every time when I start ubuntu in normal mode (and laptop hangs)
In recovery mode system boots, but this error is reported

I think it is the same bug as #543441, #543330, #543023, #542664 and #542631, but I reported it to provide more information.

Hm... after rebuilding initrd, boot in normal mode was successful. But laptop still hangs while coming back from sleep.

From your comments it seems that the original bug has gone away? I'm marking this bug as invalid; if you think that is incorrect, please reopen.

The crash after resume-from-suspend is likely to be bug #535640 - try suspending without shutting the lid. Feel free to report any further bugs or crashes.

IMHO, if user has to rebuild initrd, it's a bug :)
But I wouldn't argue with you. And please, when you will fix GPU Lockup, change its status to complete.

Are you sure it is #535640? #535640 is on AMD64, but I have X86.

Yes, it will be #535640. The CPU architecture doesn't matter.
