Bug Description

Editra, included with wxWidgets, never starts. It fails to import module Editra.Launcher. There is an existing bug, marked Fix Released, which has the same error, but a different module is causing it.

This crash has the same stack trace characteristics as bug #224214. However, the latter was already fixed in an earlier package version than the one in this report. This might be a regression or because the problem is in a dependent package.

editra is a separate package now: http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=editra

Not sure exactly when it stopped being bundled with wxwidgets2.8 in Ubuntu - it was dropped in 2.8.10.1-1 in Debian. This bug was reported in 2.8.10.1-0ubuntu1, so it presumably was still there then, but it's gone in 2.8.11.0-0ubuntu8.1.

No further comments in 4 months, so marking as "fix released" since as I noted above, editra has been dropped from wxwidgets2.8.
