Bug Description

I reloaded 9.04 to confirm that sound was working OK.

The 9.10 is up-to-date and does not play sound

I have reloaded both versions and the sound works OK in 9.04 and fails in 9.10. If there is anything further I can do to help sort out the problem, I will be glad to help
