'Personal Information -> Alias' is immutable for MSN

Bug Description
Binary package hint: empathy
Settings in "Personal Information -> Alias" for a msn account doesn't persist. If you close and restart empathy the old one is restored.
Solution:
1. close empathy
2. start pidgin (or another msn client)
3. change the alias
4. close the other-msn-client
5. launch empathy
6. the alias is set as I did in pidgin

pymsn states it supports content roaming for personal avatar, display name and status message.
The avatar is not synchronized. I could not check the personal message since I now don't have the possibility to run windows live messenger, and the last time I used it I just set my avatar, with a blank personal message.
