software-properties-gtk crashed with NoDistroTemplateException in get_sources()

I was able to re-produce this error after updating my sources.list to Intrepid repository. Attempting to launch update manager produced this error. I'll gladly attach additional information upon request.

In my above comment, I meant to say that I attempted to launch "Software Sources", not update manager as I previously described. I apologize for this confusion.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 9.04? Thanks in advance.

This seems to be fixed in current jaunty

I believe this is the same error I am getting in Lucid....

It occur on natty again.

in natty, it is fixed now.

I'm getting the same problem here after a wrong ppa-purge!
